Design

At first, the station location was set into a rocky formation. Later on the design formed naturally. The station design was supposed to resemble an old abandoned mining outpost. It included three different buildings besides the station itself which was carved out of the rock. The three different buildings represented a sleeping hall, a blacksmith and an inn. The pond in the middle of the settlement was created as it was not there beforehand. It was completely custom.

The design was mostly based around stone and wood textures.

History

The station location was pinnend shortly after the Relleka Station was opened. After deciding on the location Skelleton123 got to work on the terrain and the sleeping hall. This sleeping hall was his temporary base as long as construction was going on. In all it took a little over four months to complete the station and the track leading up towards it. The station opened with a first ride from Relleka on March 8th 2020.

Station Facilities

Like any other SRN station, The Rock also included: Access to the NTN, a crafting table, an enderchest, a map of the local area and access to the top of the station wher one could take flight with an elytra or get a nice lookout over the area. In the blacksmith house there was one bed and in the shop there were an anvil and grindstone. In the inn, which acted as a phantom shelter, there were two beds. The inn also had an enderschest and next to it there was space to shelter horses.
