A project of the Build Team is the recurrent Build Battles. The build battles have so far been run on Survival 3, where players are given one month to build accordingly to a theme. Whilst the theme is known to all during the sign up phase, there is a twist, that is only revealed to the builders on the first day of the competition.
Plots sizes are pre-determined and usually range from 16x16 to 30x30, depending on the theme/twist.
Players are also given a shulker box on their plot to assist in resource gathering. This is their own to keep.
