Raid on Vernal Manor was a looting adventure and PvP combat event that took place at Vernal Manor on the Husky world of Survival 4. It took place on the 21^st of March 2021 and was organised by Vernal Manor's creator and owner and Nitro Live champion ThEquinox2, with some setup help from colliecolie.

The event was streamed on the Dogcraft Youtube channel and later posted there as a recap video.

Event Overview

In this event, players were given 20 minutes to loot arranged chests in and around the grounds of Vernal Manor and build up combat gear from scratch. Starting on the outside, gear was modest, with higher level items found further within The Manor. Along the way, players would have opportunity to score points in a variety of ways, with the highest individual points scorers winning a share of 500,000 DCD.

In addition to the environmental threats of The Manor (a woodland mansion), the players were hunted in the latter 10 minutes of their run by the vex queen herself, ThEquinox2, fitted with diamond gear and some potions. If killed, she would reappear in The Manor after a three minute cooldown. Players were eliminated if they died, but kept the points they had earned.

Players participated in their raid in groups of eight at a time. Co-operation was an available strategic option, but killing each other was not allowed.

Points Allocation

There were three ways of collecting points during the raid:

1 point - per banner found in chests and barrels scattered around The Manor and it's outskirts. A bonus of 3 points was allocated per stack of 16 banners were found.
20 points - per kill on the vex, ThEquinox2.
Various points - given by artifacts that could be found throughout the containers around the map. Each artifact was an item with an accompanying book which had a unique effect on point total e.g. Dragonhide - your total points are equal to 10 times the square root of their original total.
