The Village of Sikukuu was a settlement on the Survival 4 Husky world of the Dogcraft Server.
About Sikukuu
Sikukuu was a small settlement south of Spawn City. It had a general winter build style allowing for a wide variety of builds, giving the village a patchwork feel to it. The idea was first proposed by LazyNine as a central group project for the streamers participating in the Dogcraft Christmas Stream Day. After many of the participating streamers expressed interest in spending their streams building in the village, construction of the area would begin on the 17th of December 2020 by LazyNine and ElliotTheRedd. The name Sikukuu was derived from the language of Swahili, meaning holiday. No structures would be built as the pair predominantly focussed on the road system to get a basic infrastructure complete in time for the stream day on the 19th.
Lots of the participating streamers would build in the village on the 19th; in order of stream time: LazyNine, 
Montenator , ThEquinox2 , ElliotTheRedd , 
Dyonamik and 
Jerry_The_Giant. After the stream day, construction of the village was primarily continued by Montenator and ElliotTheRedd. A week later, Montenator would invite 
N1cM4tth3w63 and 
Chriizsich to build in Sikukuu. Both would create their own builds on the western side of the village. The Christmas Stream Day torch was also permanently displayed in the town centre on the Christmas tree, which was a log book of all the participating streamers and what they did on the day.
A large part of the village was constructed by Montenator who chose to build his portion of the village in a style inspired by the capital city of Greenland, Nuuk. Montenator would also construct the RHN shelter for the village after a road was constructed connecting Sikukuu to the RHN, via Edo Bridge Road. Construction of this connection road, aptly named Sikuukuu Road, was primarily done by 
_Shako. An SRN branch line station was also being planned for the area, with potential connections to nearby The Haven and the City of Gaia.
While Montenator was the only person actively building in the village, both ElliotTheRedd and LazyNine were expected to return to help construct the station and to continue expanding the area. N1cM4tth3w63 had also expressed interest in returning to build something else. Sikukuu had the goal of being a good sized village that would be connected to most of the transport networks of the server. Everyone was welcome to get in contact about building something in Sikukuu, as long as it was winter themed.
