The New Year's 2021 event, held on December 31st on the Dogcraft Server and Discord, celebrated the changing of the year from 2021 to 2022. In line with yearly tradition, the Events Team announced earlier in the day that a "fireworks extravaganza" would be held in-game at a purpose-built location on the Survival 4 Husky world, with a musical score accompanying the show being played to Cyberdogs in attendance over Discord.
The show was planned and choreographed by OldManLP85 and RY44; it was the last event organised by the events team before its dissolution shortly before the launch of Survival 5.
Show
The fireworks show lasted approximately 13 minutes and was backed by a set list of songs. Redstone was used to automatically dispense the fireworks, which were positioned below lava to light the charges as they were shot out to make them stand out against the night sky. A recording of the event was made and uploaded to the CDNN YouTube channel the following day, on January 1st.
