Stump Station was the third station on the Husky South Line. Initial construction on the station was started in July 2020 by then South Line manager 20.png Mrs_Diss. The station would later be finished by 20.png kfr291 and officially opened to the public on the 2nd of October 2021.

About The Station

The station was located on a large island within a large southern ocean. The design of the station resembled a decaying tree stump of a once giant tree. The station had several parts to it, where the player can access facilities both inside the stump and outside the stump in the main station building and the surrounding garden. Stump Station marks the longest construction time for any SRN station, with construction from initial groundwork to opening taking slightly over a year.

The main station terminals were in a large building nestled into the side of the tree stump. These included a connection northwards towards Alpine Station and southwards to a potential future expansion of the South Line. The single branch line terminal was located further inside the Stump. This branch line took the player towards the city of Lotus, with a stop at Arklantis, the base of 20.png Arkhangellsk, along the way. This line was a joint effort by kfr271, Arkhangellsk and 20.png FangsofAmber, with each building the section of the line around their respective stations.

A large lighthouse was sat atop the southern side of the tree stump. Players can climb to the top via bubble-vators to get good views across the station. The NTN portal was nestled into the side of the stump, overlooking a decorated garden beachside of the station. The beach itself had many parasols and seating areas complete with campfires for barbecues. A small boat dock stretched further into the bay, allowing players to sail out into the large southern sea. Sleeping areas can be found nestled inside the stump, and staircases on either side of the branch line terminal allow the players to access the second floor of the main station building. The top of the stump was decorated with a variety of mushrooms and mosses giving it a more aged look.

Lotus Branch Line

Stump Station was the starting point for the Lotus Branch Line, connecting up the City of Lotus via Arklantis Station.

Arklantis Station

The grand front of Arklantis Station

Located in the desert base of Arkhangellsk, this station was very grand in construction and heavily used quartz in its construction, with the large dome at the centre being built out of honey blocks. The main plaza area outside the station was the perfect starting point for exploring the rest of the grand buildings around Arklantis. Alongside the two SRN connections, Arklantis Station provides several private rail connections that take the player to different parts of Arkhangellsk's base, including DARK City.

Situated near the middle of the city of Lotus on a small hilltop, the station featured a varied block palette consisting of a brick floor with grey terracotta pillars supporting a roof made out of stained glass and dark prismarine. On one side of the station, a large spire houses the NTN portal, took the player into the city's own nether hub, allowing for easy travel through Lotus City's vast territory. Altogether the station had six terminals, suggesting future expansions of the branch line could be made in all directions.
