About

Experimenting with the colours of the sky, sea, and sand, this little town was built block by block using the resources mostly found and gathered in its close vicinity. The buildings contained a ton of sandstone and blue concrete blocks as well as light blue glass and sandstone walls to achieve an aerial, highly detailed style. The sandy terrain was broken by inner lakes and springs. Beside the lanterns and hanging end rods, some hidden light sources majestically illuminated the area at night. With regard to the flora, a sprinkle of green was placed here and there in the oasis: custom trees, gardens with runner plants, and a bunch of jungle trees grown with bonemeal magic provide cool shade in the blistering heat.

Main buildings:

- Townhall with an enchanting and brewing area below the surface

- Sorter & storage building with a secret entrance to underground farms

- The mayor's office with a nice balcony to watch the sunset

Additional buildings:

- Lighthouse

- Boat house

- The Decent Smelterยฎ

- Villager shacks

- Central nether portal circle (with direct connection to northern NTN tunnel)

- Animal pens

History

The town of Machina was founded in April 2020 (on Husky) just to slowly become a safe and cozy oasis for villagers and iron golems in this harsh desert biome. As time flew by, several cats found their home here as well.

Trivia

The name 'Machina' was inspired by one of Mareel's favourite childhood games, Heroes of Might and Magic III.
