The Helper HQ was a group project founded by the April 2021 helpers. The idea was initially proposed by one of the helpers, Philip98999, and he later asked the other two helpers, Montenator and Chriizsich, if they would be interested in helping out with the building's construction. The building was planned to commemorate former helpers and serve as a place for new helpers to get information and welcome messages to help with their term.

History

Construction began in early April 2021, the three April helpers alongside Tekbot0507, Kar204 and ThEquinox2 would pick out an ocean monument in the northwest of Husky. This would serve as the base for what would become the HQ. After the monument was drained, construction started on a large atrium with hallways branching off to the left, right and front of the room. Going right from the atrium would take the player to 4 office rooms. These were intended to be used as offices for the current helpers and would be vacated each month to make way for the new helpers. Montenator, Chriizsich and Philip98999 would all decorate offices for their month as helper. Two of these offices would later be claimed by eybwam and Tankkiler123 the following month during their terms as helpers, but after May, the offices stayed vacant.

Taking the left exit out of the atrium led to the original Hall of Helpers. This was a large room that featured armour stand characters of every helper in Dogcraft history, starting from the roles creation in April 2019. The heads of the players were provided by server admin SummerFlower1234. Many of these heads are one of a kind and can’t be found anywhere else except in the HQ. The armour on the armour stands vary depending on how many terms a helper has served. Iron armour signifies that specific helper served their first term in that specific month. Any helpers in gold armour served their second term in that month. In the event where a helper gets a third term, diamond armour would be used, although that has never happened before. As more new helpers were added every month, space started running out in the original hall of helpers, so in July 2021, Montenator expanded the hall to wrap around the entire back portion of the HQ, this was also done to utilise lots of previously dead space in the monument.

Later in the month of April as progress on the HQ continued to advance, the idea was raised of former helpers having permanent offices somewhere in the building. In response to this, construction began on excavating three lower floors in the HQ to house these offices. Any former helper was welcome to claim these and decorate them in any way they please. The first floor had every room claimed at the time, with progress on the second and third floors in the works.
