History

Nonaco was established as a place for 20.png Nomiium to thaw out after many months working in the icy and snowy biomes where Nova, the player's other base is set up. The location was chosen for the prime reason of it being a mushroom island within 200,000 thousand blocks of spawn that was not already claimed by someone else and of a manageable size. The only drawback being the incredible amount of ice that had formed around the island, making it both unique and tricky to work with.

In order to prevent ice from forming around the bay and shores of the island a large amount of glass panes were placed at Y=256, practically invisible from the floor, but enough to stop the waters from freezing over by blocking direct sunlight, Minecraft for you huh!

The real life counterpart to Nonaco, even down to the name, is that of the small European country of Monaco. Alot of inspiration, styles and buildings were created after touring the country both in real life and on Google maps!

Key Buildings

Nonaco grew into a small town featuring a number of unique buildings, of note including:

  • Nonaco Casino
  • Church de Nonaco
  • Nonaco Motorsport Museum
  • Hermitage de Nonaco
  • Bayside Cafe
  • Fort de Nonico

The entire Northern edge of the island was transformed into 2 separate harbours, serving as the perfect place for the DCD millionaires to dock their pleasure craft. The western side of the island also saw the establishment of a helipad terminal operated by, Nonaco Int Air, where all arriving guests from the phome would land.

Nonaco Casino Gallery

The Nonaco Casino contained 2 separate galleries, one boasting a number of rare player heads and the other containing the works of many of Beagles greatest artists, including an original 1889 Vincent Van Gogh, A Wheatfield with Cypresses.

Nonaco Motorsport Museum

The island nation of Nonaco once played host to the Nonaco Grand Prix, however due to a inundated government, races were often decades apart. However, the motorsport culture of the island was still strong and the local motorsport museum holds a number of classic speed machines. Cars from teams such as McLaren, Mercedes and Williams had all graced the collection.
