Grand Central Station (Shepherd) served as the central station for the SRN on the Shepherd world for Survival 5. It had four connections specifically for the four cardinal lines which departed from spawn, where the station was located. Unlike many other stations, thwas station did not provide a portal to the NTN Hub. That portal was located in a separate building in the spawn area.
Design & Location
Grand Central Station was located at spawn, the centre of the world. It was located directly North of the spawn point on the other side of the spawn build. Both the spawn area and the station where build in creative prior to the Survival 5 worlds were released.
The station design was inspired by the front facade of the Rotterdam Centraal Station in the Netherlands. The special roof design was the first thing you notice when you stand in front of the station. Built out of mostly white concrete and a deepslate roof, the station had a modern design fitting it's surroundings.
Station Facilities
Like any SRN station, this station had the basics provided to serve our passengers. It had multiple beds for people to get some sleep, enderchests, crafting tables and a coffeeshop for all your coffee needs. The station had 2 levels, with the groundfloor platforms going West and East and on the upper floor platforms towards North and South. The station also had some info boards on the SRN and a map of the surrounding area.
