East Station was the first station on the Survival 5 SRN East Line on Shepherd. It was designed by Slomo_1994.
About
The station was loosely inspired by the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railway's station at Porthmadog. Elements such as the deepslate retaining walls were inspired by the Cob embankment which linked the town with the hills on the other side of the estuary.
Other than that, the station was a mish-mash of standard railway elements and SRN necessities, which culminated in an uninspiring and boring station. The station had all the usual features of an SRN station, including mainline and branch line terminals, maps, beds, crafting areas (including a furnace setup), and NTN connection.
The station also featured a garden, designed by Slomo_1994 and 
LadyDragonWolf.
History
The station design was never originally intended to be the first station on the East Line. Instead, this was meant to be the building we now know as Kirwick. Slomo_1994 deemed the Kirwick building to be unsuitable for the desert biome which occcupied a lot of the space around East Station. Because of this, the station was rather lackluster, and did not have the pizazz you'd expect from a modern SRN station.
It was built in the first few days/weeks of the server, as both the first station and a temporary base for its designer and builder, Slomo_1994. The line itself took a lot longer, however, mainly due to other IRL things that were happening, and the bridge which linked spawn with the mainland (this was completed solo). The station gardens were some of the last things to be added.
Later on, an RHN shelter was constructed, as the Shepherd turnpike ran right outside the station.
In lore, the station was the closest to spawn, as the Great Eastern Railway ran out of funds to build a station and bridge to spawn, giving a reason for it being so small.
