Paws For A Cause is an initiative started by the Dogcraft Staff Team in November 2022 with the goal being to provide a service offering general assistance to players on the Dogcraft Server. Inspired by the Hermits helping Hermits ran on the Hermitcraft server, the project aims to promote intra-player and staff engagement through direct community outreach.
Initiative
The initiative allows players to sign up a "cause" that members of staff can assist with. The cause can be effectively anything; from mining, to resource gathering, to designing and building. Once signed up, members of the Dogcraft Server Staff Team will then process the entries and assist with them, coordinating with the applicant by lending their "paws" as they are available, on a voluntary basis.
