Mount Ravenhold Station was the second station on the Akita West Line on the Survival 5 SRN. The station was designed and built by AllikatUK, and was overseen by the Akita West Line Manager Ze_Tais. This station resembled a Minecraft castle, and used stone bricks as the main block! The station ended up taking part of the Mega Akita opening on the 2nd of September alongside the 15 other stations on Akita.
About The Station
The original location of west 2 was a few hundred blocks in the eastern direction, but was moved due to technical issues. MattKi01 was originally slated to build the station, and it was originally going to be an themed after an octopus. It was later scrapped due to MattKi01 not having enough time to finish it. The original spot was picked out by the other Akita Line Managers, eybwam, Montenator, and Darparniox. Once Ze_Tais became the Akita West line manager, he scouted a new location surrounded by a marvelous view of an ocean and snowy mountains, which was a big factor into choosing a "Castle Crumbling" theme for the station. Allikat had done a fantastic job with the build, and built the station in just a few days!
The station itself featured an NTN portal, a Tom's Tatties stand, and many beds in the watch towers for sleeping and not watching over!! Each of the branch lines/mainlines had decorated tunnels around them that made them unique in their own way! The NTN tunnel itself used similar blocks as the station, thanks to HatterSkye!!
Ze_Tais went to plan the line coming from Motto Station to this station with the help of Kar204, StenLluk, and Montenator. The line leading up to the station was full of curves, circles, circles going upwards, a viaduct, among others. Coming from MOTTO Station, travelled on a track design going over the MOTTO sea and around. Going westwards, travelers were greeted with a tunnel that acted as a transition point to the standard SRN tracks. After this transition, a viaduct, designed in creative by Ze_Tais and Mika_Panda, beheld itself for a stunning ride above the watery chasm below. This viaduct was copied over by Kar204 mainly, with little help from Ze_Tais!
There was also a CSC port which enabled multi-modal access to the station.
A build session was hosted on the 24th of August to finalize all of the rail lines. More like for the helpers to finish them and not Ze_Tais!
