Tom's Tatties is the incredible baked potato business created by 
AwesomeTom21 on the Survival 5 world of the Dogcraft Server.
The Business
Though commonly laughed at by the seeming lack of profit, Tom's Tatties is a truly thriving business. With a magnificent and growing headquarters, a fleet of branded vehicles, and a number of contract deals; profits mean little in the overall success of Tom's Tatties Incorporated.
The Humble Beginnings
Previous to the large-scale takeover Tom's Tatties is today, it all started as AwesomeTom21's small, home-grown potato business run from his garden and cooked in his backyard smeltery. When the Nether Transport Network (NTN) started needing food for its growing numbers of workers, Tom took advantage of it and started his business. Tom's Tatties likely would never have grown beyond a humble potato garden if not for the NTN.
The Profits
Tom's Tatties has a two official storefronts (as of October 2nd, 2022).
- The first was originally prompted by the growing support of the Tatties from both the NTN and Rome. This storefront, quite the hidden gem, is located in MOTTO plot X14. It boasts reasonably priced Tatties inside a glorious golden dome topped with a giant potato. As of now, the shop has been "grossly underappreciated" says Tom. And it's understandable, as with the number of sponsorship deals out there, helping out with the right things gets you plenty of free Tom's Tatties.
- The second storefront is within the Sur5 Mall. Being the cheapskate he is, Tom placed it within the fitting, food-themed, mall plot of

The Sponsorship Deals
Tom's Tatties has become quite the household name associated with quality snacks around the Dogcraft worlds. With all this talk, there is sure to be a vast number of cities and organizations looking for large amounts of Tatties for a discount deal for them, and a bit of free exposure for Tom's Tatties. Here is the list so far:
- The very first Tatties supply deal was made with the NTN. With Tom's Tatties HQ being located in an area dubbed "NTN Land", home of the donations center for the NTN, as well as the location of the managers' belongings and infrastructure, the deal was not hard to negotiate. Providing food for the NTN during their weekly build sessions, the brand began to gain a small amount of traction within the management of the NTN. This extended particularly to the NTN Project Lead
TrainerMoon who promptly vowed to live off the Tatties for the entirety of Survival 5. Tom's Tatties have since become the official food of the NTN, provided for all at the donations center in NTN land. - After hearing of the budding entrepreneur in a NTN Dig Session chat,
Wanderer_06 inquired if Tom's Tatties would be interested in a partnership of sorts with Rome, Wanderer's personal city project. Tom enthusiastically agreed to the proposition, and since then Tom's Tatties and Rome have worked in tandem to cause chaos across the server... (just kidding,,, or am I...). Tom's Tatties has since then: launched a plane boasting a banner advertisement over Rome's Colosseum, become the official owner of Rome's Colosseum's "Blue" team, and supplied food for all Colosseum gladiators and participants. - With the increased efficiency and output the newly built Tat HQ delivered, Tom was able to secure a deal with the Survival Railway Network (SRN). For a monthly subscription, the SRN crew and helpers are now able to access an unlimited supply of Tatties via a Tatcopter(tm) next to the Shepherd Post Office. This hugely benefits
expedtadam , the leader of the SRN, who is famously known among the NTN crew for being incredibly broke and in debt. At least he won't starve now.
The Headquarters
Despite what statistically was viewed as a failure of a MOTTO shop, AwesomeTom21 decided to press on with the expansion of Tom's Tatties, beginning construction on the large domed headquarters in May of 2022. The main body of the HQ was completed in early July of 2022, but continues to be added to with vehicles, roads, and a basement... (see: TatMan and SpudBoy).
Some additions to the main HQ have included:
- Eight industrial-grade potato plots
- Pipes that link the potato plots to a massive smoker array
- An industrial grade bamboo/stick farm to fuel the smoker array
- XP/Tattie naming stations
- An army's worth of "Tat Bot 3000's" to handle manual labor
While the redstone to the smoker array may be questionable, (to quote Tom, "when building redstone I look at it and I think 'would mumbo cry looking at this' if yes - then I done good"), it, along with the new potato plots, more than tripled Tattie production: From as little to two-thirds of a double chest per harvest, to around two and a half double chests per harvest.
- Paths made out of unnecessarily expensive raw iron blocks
- A helicopter landing pad (and helicopter)
- A flight control tower
- A port with a fleet of boats for Tatties transport
"They're truly golden" Tom 2022, when prompted to say exactly that about his Tatties
Locations besides the Main HQ
- Tom's Tatties has a Shepherd Regional HQ in the City of Leon! (6737, 68, 256) The magnificent yellow building, fitting the style of surrounding Leon, contains a multitude of desks, documents, and secrets.
- Tom not only has a building in Leon, but a truck too! (6865, 70, 281)
- The wiki page! This page was (and is) featured in the month of October, 2022!! Very cool.
The Personas and Lore
With a theme as clear as potatoes, it is not very hard to invent nicknames and personas for a cheery fellow such as Tom. Starting with "Mr. Tatties" and ending with who knows what... the names and storylines of Tom have become more and more complex as time passes, even leading to art being made and base plans expanded.
- Mr. Tatties - Originated quite early on, developed by the NTN team due to the introduction of Tom's Tatties to their diets. "Mr. Tatties" is short, sweet, and to the point. It is commonly used as a business signature by Tom, and is his discord nickname in (at least one) discord.
- Billionaire - I think Tom was dreaming when he made this bling-covered skin, as we are aware the glasses are not gold, but rather spray painted aluminum foil.
- TatMan and Spudboy - Along with a plethora of new uses for "Tat" as a prefix, comes Tatman and Spudboy. Spudboy is Wanderer_06, but rather than fighting crime, Wanderer fights lawsuits and paperwork (as well as this wiki page) for the Tatties empire. While Tom's title is simply "Owner and Founder of Tom's Tatties", Wanderer's is "Tom's Tatties Potato Production and Promotions Executive".
