Puppy Park Speedway is a Ice Boat Track on the Survival 5 world of the Dogcraft Server and is located on the Corgi subserver.

About

The Puppy Park Speedway was built by 20.png H_Di_Chemici when he found out that the server had no official Ice Boat Track's on the server 5 world. The design is based on the Mario Kart track Baby Park that is know for it's small size and chaotic races.

H_Di_Chemici hired 20.png Elasmotherium1 to build custom trees all around the track. There were a wopping 34 trees build.

When the player 20.png D_nub asked for materials for his station on Akita H_Di_Chemici came to the rescue. As a repayment D_nub ended up building a plane at the track with a banner behind it. The pilot of this plane wears a dragon head to signify that D_nub built it.

Functions

The speedway has a total of 6 functions ranging for the way to use them, amount of players and time trail options. All these functions can be accessed in the control room.

Player Selection

The player selection option pulls up the starting gates at the begining of the track (right before the finish line). When the according amount of players that is selected are in boats at the starting positions the race automically start with a little jingle to notify the racers.

  • For 1 to 8 Players
  • Needs to be at 1 player for a time trail
  • Can be turned off by deselecting the amount of players or pressing the manual start button

Stoplines

The stoplines selection on the western wall select the smooth quart blocks that players can slow down upon. If this mode is active the secondary lines and the lines halfway the corner will be removed.

  • This mode deoesn't reset after a race.
  • This function is allowed to be active for a time trail by players preference

Time Trail

When this mode is active the track records for you quick you are going for a total of five laps. A clock starts the moment a boat crosses te finish and ends after the fifth lap is completed.

  • This can only be used for 1 active player.
  • Don't step on the tripwire hook at the finish line before the race starts.
  • The chest at the finish line should be empty before recording a time trail.

Manual Start

When you press the noteblock the race will start even if not all the players or boats are in position. It is adviced to select a number of players higher than the amount of people reacing when using it.

  • Cannot be used during a time trail.
  • Starts immeadiatly after pressing the noteblock

Random Start

With this mode active the game starts when all players are in position but with a random time inbetween.

  • This mode is silent and doesn't give the players a indication when the race starts
  • Resets after every race start
  • Don't get out of position this can break the system.

Relay Race

Relay races have to be done by at least 2 teams of more than 1 person. When this mode is active other gates will go up at the North side of the track. Two players get in position in the first two boxes and two other in the last.

  • The teams decide which gate they get.
  • The teams decide how many rounds each group are going to race, this can be balanced depending on skill level.
  • When this mode is active other modes can still work, so turn them off
  • Make sure the stoplines is the way both teams want to race.
