North Station was a station on the Survival 5 world of the Dogcraft Server. Situated around 800 blocks north of the Akita Spawn Island, North Station was the first stop on the Survival Railway Network's North Line of Akita.

About

The station was located at the first coastline north of Spawn in order to provide the quickest possible stop for travelers simply seeking land. In a jungle biome, the station was straightforward in layout, a wide main platform for SRN lines and an NTN portal on the hillside and branch line terminals on the coast side. Down a staircase was an exit by foot area, and further down built into the cliff wall was a Connected Seas Coalition port. The station palette was predominantly wooden with some stone and sandstone.

History

The station site was set up on the 18th of March, the first day of Survival 5, in anticipation that the absence of homes would result in more players basing near to Spawn. On the 11th of April, a bridge across the ocean was built by a team of around 10 players that connected Spawn to the northern continent and the North Station site. However, it was not until late June that the main platform was designed by 20.png darparniox and built with help from 20.png Ze_Tais and 20.png starr274 and the station functional in rail and NTN terms.

Because of a planned absence from the server on the part of North Line Manager 20.png darparniox, progress on the station stalled entirely until late August. The branch lines and port areas were completed in time for an opening on the 19th of September.

In May 2023, a branch line from North Station to 20.png Duckyz & 20.png SarahPantera100's base Sunken Mansion was built.
