Temple Station was the second station for the SRN West-Line on the Shepherd world of Survival 5. The station was situated on a cliff and inspired by a Buddhist Temple. The station had enough platforms to provide branch connections and more official lines.
Design & Location
Temple Station was located on the edge of a cliff. The design was inspired by a Buddhist temple design and transformed to fit the SRN station requirements. The station was completely built up from diorite and other white blocks for texturing. Accented with spruce wood and a spruce roofs. Down in the basement, the cave that housed the branch line platforms was completely dug out by hand and was textured with cobble and andesite stones that gave it a more rustic look.
In one of the towers, a small RHN stop was housed. The central courtyard also provided space for some horses to take a rest.
Station Facilities
The station provided all the required SRN amenities. It had multiple crafting tables, enderchests, beds to take a rest, a map of the surrounding area, and a Nether portal connecting to the NTN high up in a temple tower. One of the towers had a flat roof, easy for elytra landing or take off!
The RHN Shelter had 2 beds for tired horse travelers, a guestbook and also housed a small Monty Coffee Shop for all your coffee needs.
History
The station build was started at the start of the 2022 summer. It took almost halve a year due to IRL circumstances, but the station was finished just in time for the Quintuple opening of stations on February 4th 2023! In the week leading up to the opening, the line from West to Temple was built during a build session.
