The CRN-Headquarters was located on the south line of the CRN on the Labrador world of Survival 5. The CRN-HQ also functioned as the first station on the South Line on Labrador. The HQ also incorporated a CSC Port, which was located under ground inside the hill that the HQ sat on top of.

History

The location for the South Station was first found by 20.png Tankkiler123 in August of 2022 and he later also confirmed, that this station would also incorporate the CRN HQ. After some time with little work being done on the project, the construction of most of the line connecting it to spawn, was taken over by 20.png XPModder at the end of september. Most of the line was constructed by november. This also included the CRN's first causeway, which traversed a lake not far from the station.

During this time, 20.png Tankkiler123 was working on some designs for the station and HQ in a creative world. Due to lack of time on his behalf, the progress was slow and eventually came to a halt.

For some months, no further progress would be made and at the beginning of march 2023 20.png Tankkiler123 asked 20.png XPModder to take over the project, as he did not have enough time, to work on multiple big projects at once any more.

After taking over the project and taking a look at the location, 20.png XPModder decided, that a design he had worked on before, would work well for the location and was also very large, thus also working well as a HQ, as it could easily house the additionally required facilities. This design only required a few modifications, before being ready for use as the CRN HQ.

After making some modifications to the design and officially announcing the change in the projects leadership, XPModder soon began terraforming and marking out the location of the station.

It was not long until the construction of the station would begin. The station and HQ, as well as the port were largely done by the end of the second week of march. The project was constructed so fast, as XPModder had been anticipating the construction and eventual opening of the CRN HQ for a while and he also had, at the time, no other big projects he was working on and thus, put all his time on the server into this project. Additionally he had done some scouting for the eventual location for the second south station on Labrador and had found it to be located at the location of the official easter event, which was at the time, under construction by the DCT. This discovery lead to the proposal of a combined effort of the entire CRN to build, not only the CRN HQ, but also the next south line, connecting the HQ to the easter event area.

After this large amount of progress in such a short time, the opening of the HQ was announced by XPModder, to take place on march 18th, 2023. In this opening, not only the HQ and the line connecting it to spawn, but also Olton Hall Station, the second station on the North line on Labrador and the line connecting it to North Station were to be opened.

In mid may of 2023, after the RHN showed some plans for expanding on labrador, some stables and a road with a public square were built just north of the station, to be eventually connected to the RHN. With this some minor changes were also made to the interior of the station, making it now meet all requirements for a Shelter.

Info

The CRN HQ was home of the CRN and contained a rail station, a CSC port, a RHN shelter the CRNs main storage area, a list of completed CRN projects, a list of contributors and a list of current projects. Additionally the HQ also contained an info board with info about the CRN, a place to get CRN banners and Labrador Network Maps and a donations area.

The CRN HQ could also be reached by /phome CRN HQ.

If you have helped with the construction of a line or station and were not yet listed on the wall of contributors, or if you are working on a project or have finished a project, which was not yet displayed on the appropriate list, or if you have suggestions for assigning a chest in the storage (read below first, please), players were asked to contact 20.png XPModder ingame or on discord.

CRN Storage

The CRN Storage was located directly under the CRN HQ and was accessible by anyone!

Anyone was allowed to leave items in the chests/barrels of the storage, but was asked to keep things organised by only placing items in the chests designated to those items!

Players were asked to not put useless things like mob drops (eg rotten flesh) in the storage or in the donation chests!

If you donated materials in shulker boxes, you were allowed to take the same amount of empty shulker boxes out of the chests in the storage!

Materials in the CRN HQ were strictly property of the CRN and were to be used for CRN projects only! Do not use these materials for personal projects! Everyone working on a CRN project was free to take whatever resources were required from the storage to be used in the project. Leftover materials should be returned to the storage!

Chests that were not currently dedicated to a material/materials, could be used for temporary storage of anything. The chests were numbered and a lectern with a book was placed near them. The book was used to assign a given chest via its number to a material or project! If you did so, you were asked to remove the entry after finishing the project/emptying the chest of materials, if it was no longer needed.
