Caelon is planned to be a large build on the Survival 5 world of the Dogcraft Server.
About
Caelon shall be a city loosely inspired by architecture of Early Byzantine, to try push a style which is not prevalent within the community. This will combine with oriental architecture for a region of the city, playing with the interaction of these cultures. The aim will be, as before, to create a hub for the community within an aesthetically pleasing and cohesive build, this time with an emphasis on verticality, making use of 1.18's extended world height.
Hence, the general layout of Caelon will be an island, with the use of white cliffs, and black-sand beaches, connected to the mainland via a long bridge; the island itself will stretch skywards, allowing for buildings to be placed at various heights. This will be terraformed from scratch, allowing for great control over the terrain.
Name Etymology
The name Caelon is based off the Roman god Caelus, the god of the sky.
