About The Station
Looking to build another SRN station, AdamB4255 approached Montenator looking for a potential area to build one. At this point the Shepherd South Line was significantly underdeveloped compared to the other SRN main lines, but had recently started making progress again as Ze_Tais began finishing South Station. To get the line properly back on track, the plot of land for South 2 was offered up to AdamB4255, and he quickly got to work creating a design for the station.
The area in question was a fairly blank canvas, being a beach at the edge of a forest. Forgesmith Station was designed to resemble a semi-industrial printing studio, with decorative machines that operated inside the station. The main station building was clean and functional and built mainly out of brick and granite with stripped oak as the framework. Copper and warped wood were used as an accent for the windows, and sandstone made up the gently curved roof. The most striking feature of the station was the small smoke stack that towers above the rest of the building, in a similar fashion to Reservoir Station on Akita.
Another small building with a similar block palette was located nearby, that featured more beds and NTN access, as well as a small Monty Coffee stall. A small seating area was located just outside this building, overlooking the ocean to the southwest. Further decoration in the area involved two delivery trucks dropping of supplies to the factory, as well as old crates strewn about the area. A few dirt paths interlink the two main buildings, with another heading down to the beach that was lined with a few palm tress and a pond housing several blue axolotls. The station was also connected to the RHN via a road built by starr274.
