Solace Station was the third and final station on the East Line on the Survival 2 world of the Dogcraft Server. The station was designed and built by MollusSlime with some help from then East Line Manager William278. The station served the Kingdom of Solace, the main base of MollusSlime for Survival 2. The station itself would open to the public on the 15th of July 2018.
About The Station
Solace Station is a very grand and imposing structure, perched upon a ridge overlooking the Kingdom of Solace. The station itself is circular in shape and features a tiered dome shape at its top. Very intricate patterns detail the exterior walls of the station, and the roof is illuminated with flames situated at the very top of the station building.
When entering the station via the east line, the player is taken into a basement level of the station, with a nether portal in its centre, providing an easy connection to the NTN. The basement area is decorated with lots of dark nether themed blocks such as obsidian, dark concretes, and nether bricks but vibrant patterns of reds, yellows and purples cut through the darkness providing a beautiful contrast the basement room. In this room secondary line connections can also be found, as well as a connection that would have led to an East 4 station, which would ultimately not be completed.
In each of the corners of this room, small caves lead to SRN amenities, like beds, network maps and a map of the station and the Kingdom of Solace surrounding it. One of these small caves also leads the player out a secret exit at the base of the ridge the station sits upon.
Climbing the stairs, the player is greeted by the imposing structure of the main atrium, decorated with a wide variety of colours and patterns that stretches nearly 80 blocks towards the ceiling above. Deep blues make up the floor of this room, while the ceiling is decorated with vibrant yellows and oranges lined with cyan.
