Tropical Station is loosely based on architecture found in the Dutch Caribbean, on islands like Aruba. The station has a bright colour palette that deliberately contrasts the lush green of the jungle surrounds. Built predominantly out of cyan concrete, textured with warped wood, wool and concrete powder, with quartz framing around the main structure. The bright orange roof made out of red sandstone, brick and granite provides another sharp contrast to the blues of the walls. The station itself bears a resemblance to Seaside Station, part of the SRN network on Husky.

Tropical Station is an average sized station on the network, with several spacious rooms and landscapes areas around the station. The main atrium is centered by a palm tree stretching up to the ceiling, the smaller waiting room next to the main atrium also has a central palm tree in it. The station has 2 main line connections and just 2 branch line connections, mainly due to how remote it is. The main atrium also includes the NTN connection as well as network maps and a map of the surrounding area. The waiting room next door has several seating area and bookshelves as well as a Monty Coffee stand. The room is also decorated with various items and banners from old server events, and contains regular station utilities like anvils and ender chests in it.

A staircase located to the side of the waiting room takes players upstairs to a large open top landing area. Decorated by two large palm trees and also including some bed benches around the sides. From there, players can enter the top room where the majority of the stations beds are located, as well as a journey timetable showing the journey times each station on the Akita South Line is from Tropical. Nearby the station is a CSC port. It features the same block palette to the main station, and is an open roofed design bordered by two large towers with conical turrets atop them, with the south line yellow flag waving from each. Standard amenities are found in the CSC port, such as lodestone compass dispensers and boat chests etc. On the other side of the area, a small grove of palm trees can be found at the beach. A large bonfire is located in the center of the grove with several small benches scattered around the bonfire.
