Lushbank Port was a build on the Survival 5 Akita world of the Dogcraft Server. The build was the first of its kind, being the first dual Port/Shelter in the servers history. The port opened to the public on the 15th of October 2022 and was designed and built by Montenator.
About the Port
The area was initially marked down as a location for a PNG Shelter in June 2022, when Montenator was building Bayou Road. However, the area would not be developed for several months. It was during this time that the CSC established itself of Akita, and with a CSC port being located at South Station, relatively close by the area for Lushbank, Montenator decided to have the build be a dual function port/shelter.
Located at the edge of a jungle biome, the build takes the form of an abandoned Mayan ruin, which has since been converted in a makeshift way to function as a port and rest stop. Small dirt paths take the players around the area, with one leading down to the lower dock area, and another curving upwards to the top level of the ruins, where a log book and amenities can be found. Beds can be found in the lower level of the main building, while a stables are is located behind the ruins just off the main road leading past the area. A footbridge connects the area to the swampland to the west, and further on towards South Station. The bridge was built at an earlier date, being built to carry Bayou Road over the marshes to the other side in July 2022.
When the PNG merged into the RHN in January 2023, the PNG branding at the shelter would be converted to the classic RHN yellow and lime.
