Cape Turtle Station was the third station on the Shepherd South Line on Survival 5. The station was designed and built by AllikatUK after the area was opened for building by Montenator. Initially, the task of building the station was taken up by H_Di_Chemici, but due to other commitments on the server he was not able to finish the project. The station opened to the public alongside the fourth and fifth stations on the Shepherd South Line, in an opening that took place on the 18th of August 2023.
About The Station
The station was designed to blend in with it's surroundings, and consists of a large natural arch over a canal where the rail terminals and a CSC port was located. The top of the arch was decorated in plants, trees and foliage which again blended it in nicely with the surrounding forest. The station itself was located at the end of a long peninsula. Nearby the base of ArtfulBandit, a birch bridge took players over to the other side of the canal where a beach was found with lots of turtles on it. Back at the other end of the bridge, a small staircase provided an exit from the station.
On the rail terminal side of the station, two smaller rooms can be found. One of these rooms housed a nether portal for connecting to the NTN, while the other contained beds and other basic utilities. The station contained two rail connections, one heading north to Forgesmith Station, while the other headed south towards White Thorns Station. The inside of the arch was also decorated with glowberries and leaves that gave an overgrown feel to the station.
