Spawn Port (Retriever) is a build on the Survival 6, Retriever world of the Dogcraft Server. It was designed by Montenator and its interior by H_Di_Chemici. XPModder would also assist with aspects of the design, while Edhellan would assist Montenator and H_Di_Chemici with the ports construction in game. It would open to the public on New Year's Day 2024 and was the first transport network opening of Survival 6.

About The Port
The port is located in a plains biome north of the main Spawn basin on Retriever. Currently it sits across the road, opposite from Spawn Shelter for the Retriever RHN. The port surprisingly is not built near any body of water, and it in fact is elevated some 50 blocks above the water level, due to the nature of the terrain. To combat this, a custom built pool was built outside the canal, two canals connect to this pool, one bound for the north and the other for the east (not yet constructed). The north canal travels through a tunnel underneath a small hill before breaking out on the surface again and descending into a natural cave via a ladder system. The ladder system is designed to be as simplistic as possible, with bubble-vators raising boats up a level every 6 blocks. Eventually the ladder descends into an aquafer within the cave, before another small tunnel takes the player through to Squid Bay, which has access to the wider rivers and seas of the server.
The port was designed in October 2023, in anticipation for an imminent release of Survival 6. The design work was postponed when it was revealed Survival 6 would still be some time away, and was revisited in early December 2023 by Montenator and H_Di_Chemici who, along with XPModder, would finalise the design for the port.
