History
The idea gained traction immediately and within 24 hours half a dozen players had constructed tiny homes on the archipelago. Many more joined in on the fun in the following days and weeks, though the rate at which new builds appear soon slowed down significantly.
Most of the available area was used for construction, and the early hype surrounding the project calmed down considerably afterwards. By the end of the Survival 2 world, there were few plots of land remaining.
Transport
To connect MicroMesa to the Nether Transport Network, the nether tunnel was expanded by over 1000 blocks towards the west and south. Coincidentally, the junction for the southward line is near a large Mesa biome in the overworld, such that the Mesa and MicroMesa NTN stations neighbor each other.
The MicroMesa NTN Station also featured a miniature diorama of the MicroMesa, a unique feature on the network.
Style
The build-style varied enormously, from the very simple to the very intricate, from medieval to modern, via rustic and the fantastic, but was united by the relatively small size of the builds. Most adhered to a guideline of 10x10 blocks, with a few much smaller ones.
Builds
Most of the builds on MicroMesa were worth exploring. Even though they were small, the players often invested a lot of effort into detailing and sprucing them up. Stand-out builds included the tree on the southern-most island of the archipelago, the tiny castle in the northeast extremity, the secret headquarters underneath the centre of the island, and the caves in the south.
Embassies
The MicroMesa also branched out and built landmarks in other settlements on the server, however not in the classical sense. Instead, it operated Tourism Bureaus, which could be found in in Havana, Akkara and Hydropolis at the end of Survival 2.
Banner

The banner of the MicroMesa features a mesa rising out of the ocean in front of a rising sun. It was created by Cookies5810 who volunteered to craft one. The banner went through 3-4 renditions until Mrs_Diss was happy with it.
