Soms Station was the third station along the North Line of the SRN in Survival. However, much like the town of Soms it served, it was never completed.
Design
The few design elements of the station that did exist were in the intention of keeping with the proposed cyberpunk style of Soms.
History
Soms Station was planned far in advance considering the progress of the North Line at that time. Planning for the station coincided with planning of the project Soms, an initiative by moderators for greater collaboration of their team, in around August 2016. The project was later abandoned, with only a few completed elements.
Although construction of Mesa Station and some continuation of the North Line toward Soms had taken place, in the following months SRN progress slowed to a standstill. It wasn't until roughly April of the next year that the railway would reach the station, and with continued low productivity of the SRN as a whole, and station would not come under construction until late May 2017. The announcement of the Survival 2 world followed shortly after and progress on Soms Station was suspended indefinitely.
