This page contains a timeline of significant events and changes affecting the Dogcraft website, discord & server throughout it's lifetime, effectively serving as an overview of the community's history.

2012

July

The homepage of Dogcraft.net on the 21^st of August, 2012; one month after the founding of the website.

12 July 2012 - Dogcraft.net website founded by ReNDoG as a forum for fans to discuss videos.
14 July 2012 - Dogcraft.net is first mentioned by Rendog in Episode #56 of his Let's Play Minecraft series.
14 July 2012 - Dogolith introduced, with the new site serving as a destination for fans to apply to be "immortalized" onto the monument in Rendog's world.
July 2012 - Dogcraft.net VIP membership program introduced, a precursor to the Patreon system today, allowing fans to support Rendog and the site.
July 2012 - Pickaxe and Bone logo designed

August

August 2012 - AJAX Chat added, allowing Cyberdogs to instantly message over the site.
August 2012 - Arcade added
August 2012 - Dogcraft Dollars first implemented, which could be earned through VIP membership or for chatting on the forums.
August 2012 - Dogcraft Shop added, allowing users to buy website "stock" to display on their profile with DCD.

28 September 2015 - Dogcraft Minecraft Server launched for testing on Minecraft 1.8 for a select group of Pioneers.
28 September 2015 - Survival world launched; a Survival Multiplayer world. Spawn City was founded on this day.
28 September 2015 - Amplified world launched; a Survival Multiplayer world with Amplified terrain
28 September 2015 - MCMMO world launched; a Survival Multiplayer world with MCMMO plugin.
28 September 2015 - Creative world launched; a creative mode world. The first iteration required an admin to allocate plots.
28 September 2015 - Skyblock world launched, with missions for players to complete.
28 September 2015 - First Hub world launched, with a design based on Rendog's Mole City from his Survival series world.
28 September 2015 - Dogcraft Discord server created.

October

October 2015 - Construction developments in Spawn City; MoleMart building founded by TheFreakSound and crop farms established by NBStuart.

November

14 November 2015 - Dogcraft Minecraft Server launches publicly for the first time.

2016

April

Mid April 2016 - Survival Railway Network (SRN) founded by _edo and Mr_Dawgie on the first Survival world.
Late-April 2016 - Completion of Grannydog's Monument in Spawn City, with new Spawn Station underneath.

May

4 May 2016 - Stream Town founded during a livestream by ReNDoG.
21 May 2016 - End Dimension on the Survival world officially opened.
21 May 2016 - Dogcraft updated to Minecraft 1.9: The Combat Update

June

2 June 2016 - Lackria founded by William278 and SENsationals02 alongside a track of the new SRN.
16 June 2016 - First ever SRN railway station completed - South Station.

November

6 November 2016 - Rendog posts base tour video, touring Lackria among other locations leading to a large influx of new players.

2017

February 2017

February 2017 - Snow Day event held; the first to be fully organized by the original Events Team.
February 2017 - darparniox assumes role of SRN Conductor from _edo.

March 2017

New Dogcraft.net site introduced in March 2017.

March 2017 - Dogcraft.net experiences major data loss following a hard crash, bringing the site down for the first time since 2012.
March 2017 - New Dogcraft.net site launched with a fresh forums and design by Mattigins. Many features were removed, such as the arcade games.

April 2017

1 April 2017 - No Fooling Around: A PvP Event held, attended by Rendog.
22 April 2017 - Festival of Flight event held, an event based around sky and elytra-based activities, featuring flight courses, a building contest and aerial PvP.

May 2017

5 May 2017 - The Survival Railway Network project establishes a Discord server, becoming the first Dogcraft sub-community to do so. More communities would do this as Discord became the definitive method of communication on Dogcraft.

June 2017

1 June 2017 - HeadMod Rustbite announces the release of a new Survival world, dubbed "Survival 2", to be released later that year.
10 June 2017 - Something Summer event held, a summer-themed event held on a beach with a festival theme.
June 2017 - Wanigoora founded by OPwrecker.

July 2017

12 July 2017 - Dogcraft celebrates it's fifth birthday. HeadMod LilWolfie asked Cyberdogs to name their favorite memories of the community in exchange for prizes.

October 2017

31 October 2017 - Spooktober halloween event held on the server.

September 2017

The City of Havana

2 September 2017 - Survival 2, the second Survival Multiplayer world was released in a livestream event by Rendog, effectively succeeding Survival 1.
2 September 2017 - City of Havana founded by _edo, darparniox and Brianetta, amongst others.
2 September 2017 - Akkara City founded by William278, LAK3RS and TraktorMC.
2 September 2017 - Survival Railway Network in Survival 2 established.

December

December 2017 - Christmas 2017 event held, with a large snow globe build featuring a central grand Christmas Tree, a collaboration between the Build Team and Staff Team.
31 December 2017 - New Years' Eve was celebrated by a build in the end that celebrated the pass of New Year in every country around the world, an organisation of the Staff, Build and Events Teams.

2018

April

21 April 2018 - Havana is toured by ReNDoG in a base tour video.
28 April 2018 - Akkara City Opening Day event held on the server, with a livestreamed tour of the town by Rendog.
Late-April 2018 - As a result of the popularity of cities on the server, a large number of new settlements are founded, known as the Townpocalypse.

May

May 2018 - Colors event held, celebrating the "colors of life". It featured a number of color-oriented events, including parkour and a sheep-based version of "Hungry-Hungry Hippos".

June

30 June 2018 - Cyberdog Wiki Project is established by William278, founding what would become the Official Dogcraft Wiki.

September

23 September 2018 - Redstone Revelry event held. It featured a large mansion with a diverse set of redstone traps and puzzles.

October

7 October 2018 - Hydropolis officially opens to the public, with a large 65-wither fight drawing large crowds to the short-lived city.
15 October 2018 - It is announced that all worlds would be deleted and a new Survival world would be launched on the 20^th of October that month.
15 October 2018 - Staff face large community backlash from the announcement, criticizing the short notice and blunt wording of the announcement.
16 October 2018 - Usage of the World Downloader mod is permitted on Dogcraft.
19 October 2018 - The server is closed to make way for the third Survival world, all other worlds (except Creative) were discontinued at this time.
20 October 2018 - Survival 3, the third Survival Multiplayer world on the Dogcraft server, launched to the public.
20 October 2018 - Deliverance founded by LAK3RS, William278, Rhyvin and other Akkara members.
20 October 2018 - Chronia founded by a group of members who built Hydropolis on Survival 2.
21 October 2018 - The Home Tree founded by Dutchsoccer and friends.

November

November 2018 - Trade Hall established by TickleMePickles. bricksburger and Maverick2008 would join him to assist in construction.
November 2018 - William278 leaves Deliverance project to make preparations to found what would become Ouranos.
