Canine Kingdom is a public minigame project on the Survival 6 world of the Dogcraft Server.
History
After the resounding succes of Puppy Park in survival 5 the parkmanagers: Xambaka,
XPModder and
H_Di_Chemici decided to make a minigame area again on survival 6 learning from their mistakes to make it even better than last server. The parkmanagers intrested in a larges swath of flat plains or moushroom land had their dreams come true when the dynmap came online before the launch of survival 6. This meant they could spot potential areas before even stepping a foot on the server. Quickly the location was decided, a plains biome in the southeast of the Sheltie subserver. This was perfect for them because XPModder and H_Di_Chemici are part of the SRN linemanagers team for the East-and Southlines respectively.
In less than an hour after launch Xambaka together with basemate CactusBrother got to the wanted location and started claiming the massive area quickly. Soon after Chemi and XP completed their day 1 SRN duties they followed swiftly to the location and secured the border to make sure nobody else could call it theirs.
On day 2 after launch Chemi decided to work on some roads from his base Cape Di Chemici towards Canine Kingdom. He wanted to make sure he could always get there quickly from his base whenever he needed the transport materials (at this point the /sethome command had a bug and was unusable). In the following days afterwards the roads where laid out for the northwestern most distriction together with the 16 plots that could be filled by games. These plots ,generally bigger than the ones in Puppy Park are far less limiting in size and can be adjusted if a game is smaller or bigger.
Events in Canine Kingdom
The Canine Kingdom crew (Xam, XP, Chemi) have hosted a variety of events throughout the time Canine Kingdom has been managed by them. The first ones were sporadic minigame nights that came from a gamebuilder wanting to test their game and people just sticking around to hang out further.
An official event was held on the 5th of april 2024 by Chemi to foght dragons to get dragon eggs for his game Scrambled eggs a rebuild from Puppy Park
The first proper organised one was held on the 16th of june 2024. It was held in a VC in the main discord so others who are not in the cyberdog games discord could also attent the event. I massive amount of people ended up showing up, mostly those who were online at the, but also some big fans of Puppy Park who knew what to expect of it.
Duo day was the next proper event (held on the 24th of august), with an unanounced one inbetween that ended up following the scuba scaveger test. This was Duo Day, an event all about being in a team with one other player. Players were randomly assigned to another player and wore matching leather armour. In the event area a scoreboard was put up, every time your team one a game one point was added. The eventual winners were Montenator and
XPModder being dressed in red.
An impromptu gaming night happened on the 22nd of semptember, the participants ended up playing vibeeng's new game Cyberball a armadillo less version of scootball.
A second duo day ended up being by I_AM_AURUM on the 26th of october with a completly diffrent list of games available, it was an equal succes albeit with a change singles day due to low turnout. These event ended up introducing Bullrush to the general public.
On the 8th of january 2025 an important announcement was posted in the cyberdog games discord. Periodic minigame nigths were going to be held on the second friday of the month, starting at UTC: 19.00 and ending when players were leaving. This minigame night has the highest amount of players showing up to a canine kingdom event to date, with at one point more then 20 people activly playing games.
The Nether Chaos event was hosted on the 8th of february. With Canine Kingdom having alot of finished games at this point the nether hub had to be dug out and built. In true canine kingdom fashion this was done in a less serious manner, the digging was not done with pickaxes but with bed using the intended behaviour of beds in the nether dimension. About 15 people showed and and the 100 by 120 hub was dug out in less then 2 hours. A bedwars game was held in wich the players had to infiltrate the other teams obsidian box and disable their respauwn chamber, alot of loose PvP happened witht beds. And additionally a witherfight happened in the end. First a singular wither named Canine Kingdom Security and then 3. Due to a misunderstanding more withers ended up beeing spawned and one fell trough the floor in the lava lake bellow. After a small hunt and numorous people pereshing to the wither it was deafeted mid air. Afterwards the smaller bits left were dug out by hand.
List of games
The list of games is made to see how many amazing (mini)games have been built in the park by various people. Later down the line this will be split into the seperate districts.
The games with a * are meant to indicate that they were already seen in puppy park but have been built again due to succes. Usually improvements on either the game's quality or the decor have been made.
Castle Dsitrict
This district housing the Canine Kingdom north station is home to some of the first constructed games in canine kingdom inlucding some fan favorites. The land, named after the castle on its Western border is home to 17 games. The netherportal in this district is a medieval castle tower with a twist, it is wearing a sombrero and has a face. This tower also houses the canine kingdom phome: /H_Di_Chemici.Canine_Kingdom and a small stable on the side where visitors can leave their trusty steed, or untrustworthy llama.
The station is on the border with Lake District, the second district in Canine Kingdom and the biggest to date. Across the stations central gate, we can find the Duo Day event area. This bit of land was used twice for such an event, once organised by Chemi who wanted some change after the irregular minigame nights and wanted to have it themed. The second time Aurum organised it, with a completly diffrent list of games available, it was an equal succes albeit with a chnaged for to singles day due to low turnout.
