The Survival 6 Launch Event commemorated the opening of Survival 6 on the Dogcraft Server; inaugurating the two new worlds Sheltie and Retriever, as well as the new Stream Town event area. The event took form of a Community Live Stream hosted by ReNDoG, where players were invited to partake in building and resource-gathering activities as part of the founding of the new Stream Town. The event was organized by William278, in coordination with the Server Staff Team and Ironboundred.

Stream Town

The original Stream Town was a settlement on the original Survival 1 world of the server, and was a plot-based city where players could build around a central ReNDoG-owned plot. The area was brought back for Survival 6 in the form of a third "streamtown" world with a limited world border; the idea being that this world will play host to major server event builds as the season progresses and avoid congesting other worlds during live streamed visits from Ren. The new Stream Town opened with just under 70 plots, centered around a city square that backed onto Ren's plot.

During the live stream event, Ren rallied Cyberdogs to gather starter resources, offering Rencoin incentives in exchange for items. Ren challenged players to a miniature themed build competition on his plot.

The Christmas 2023 event area was also located on, and was briefly toured by ReNDoG during the launch stream.

The first Plushies were given out on opening day, with Cyberdogs being able to claim a commemorative King Rendog plushie. ReNDoG also handed out several hundred Rencoin during the stream, both as prizes as well as at random by teleporting to players exploring the new worlds. One unfortunate incident occurred when ReNDoG teleported to TrainerMoon who was in the process of exploring an Ocean Monument. After seeing where he had been teleported to, Ren accidentally tab-completed and executed the /tpaall command in panic. This admin command sends a request to all online players asking them to teleport to Ren.

Many players in-game, after seeing a request from Ren, excitedly accepted the request—only to be promptly stunned when the request teleported them to the bowels of a monument. The volume of ill-equipped players, lack of oxygen, and presence of a significant number of guardians promptly caused dozens of player deaths, much to the horror of Ren. The incident became known as The Great Squish, and the bay instantly became a national monument known as Squish Bay.
