Ice Cap Station was one of the two purpose-built junction stations of the Husky South-West Branch Line on Survival 4, alongside Oxbow Station. The station was built in June 2021 by 20.png Montenator. Although the station was fully operational for half a year, the opening was postponed until the rest of the SW Branch Line was finished.

About The Station

Ice Cap is located in a snowy plains biome on the southern coast of Husky's Spawn Sea. Fittingly the station was designed after a polar style research base that would be found in the Arctic or Antarctic. The design was initially going to be used by Montenator on the Beagle South Line, but since there wasn't an area that would suite the design, it was built as part of the Husky SW Branch Line instead.

The main station building holds two terminals in it, one taking the player northwards up a peninsula to the 2020 Christmas Stream Day village Sikukuu, and the other taking the player to 20.png _Shako's city of Vitruvius. This building also includes network maps as well as a nether portal for NTN access, as well as this, a map of the surrounding area is located in the middle of the room and ender chests/ crafting tables line the side walls. A walkway out the rear of the room, circles around a central communications tower where beds are located, and a stairway leads the player down into the lower portion of the tower where they can exit and explore the surrounding area.

The walkway also splits over to the left towards another smaller terminal building where the line to Butterfly Valley can be found, the base of 20.png R0bstar and 20.png CeresAmongStars. The terminal buildings have exposed redstone at their base, trying to reflect that these buildings would typically be stilted and raised above the frozen tundra. Below the Butterfly Valley terminal, a solar panel array can be found. These panels power the research station with energy to last through the cold winter months. On a small islet to the left of the station there is also a radio tower, for communicating and sending data to others in a far flung corners of Husky.

A small RHN stables is located at the southern end of the complex, this is a convenient place to keep your horse if you intend of getting in a minecart after riding the RHN. Ice Cap Shelter doesn't have any other amenities like beds and ender chests, as they can all be found in the main station building.
