Survival, the server's flagship mode has been continuously available since launch. It is currently on its fifth iteration, which started on 2022 March 18th. Survival 5 marked the server's update to Minecraft 1.18: Caves & Cliff II, and brought with it revamp to the server's economy system. Like Survival 4, Sur5 is also split into multiple interlinked worlds; Akita, Corgi, Labrador and Shepherd, between which inventory and enderchest data is shared, but each with unique seeds. The
/akita
,
/corgi
,
/labrador
and
/shepherd
commands can be used for switching worlds directly, without the extra step of the
/worlds
GUI. Players can also teleport to each other and to their own homes between worlds. However, all 4 are interconnected, so nobody has to choose a single world to play on. (The server operates with multiple worlds for better performance.)

Akita
Each of the Sheltie and Retriever worlds has its own spawn, containing a pre-built section with an admin claim around the spawn point created by the Dogcraft Creative Team before the world's launch, and an open community portion past the edge of the protected area where anyone is free to build.
Main article: Spawn (Akita)

Akita's spawn is themed around the gold rush, looking like a looking like a town out of a Western movie. It's one of the two spawns on a mushroom island. For getting off the island and around the world, players can use the Nether Transport Network (ice boat tunnels) in the nether, and the Survival Railway Network (minecart rails) and Connected Seas Coalition (boat travel) in the overworld. The player-run shopping district MOTTO is located on Akita. ย
The Streamtown world has a number of plots around the spawn point that can be claimed by players to build in, while the rest of the world is protected against building and mining. For more info about Streamtown, see the paragraph below

Corgi
Retriever
Main Article: Retriever

The Corgi spawn's theme is "druid", with hilly meadows in a plains biome. Travelers may use the Nether Transport Network (ice boat tunnels) in the nether, and the Community Rail Network (minecart rails) in the overworld. Corgi has a community-built public gold farm. ย
Retrievers Spawn is a snowy valley surrounded by tall snow-capped mountains in all directions with the spawn point as well as the nether- and end-portals being located at the bottom of the valley. This spawn was not built by the Dogcraft Creative Team, instead having been commissioned by Rendog and built by minecraft streamer and builder kimandjax at some point before Sur6 for a world that never came to exist and was finally used for Retriever.

Labrador
Players have to leave the pre-built spawn area on foot, by elytra or via the nether portal and the Nether Transport Network, with the player built spawn-town with access to the Connected Seas Coalition, the Road and Horse Network and the Survival Railway Network being located to the north.

Labrador's space themed spawn build is the biggest of the pre-built spawns for Survival 5, located in a desert. The Nether Transport Network (ice boat tunnels), Road and Horse Network (foot & horse paths) and Community Rail Network (minecart rails), all operate on the world.
Sheltie
Shepherd
The Sheltie Spawn is a japanese themed large floating island above an ocean near the shore with a small number of buildings also located on the shore on normal terrain. The spawn point, nether- and end-portals as well as a place to buy claim blocks in bulk are located on the floating island, which players can leave by simply jumping off the edge and into the ocean below.
Main article: Spawn (Shepherd)

Shepherd has the other mushroom island spawn, with an urban, city like theme. Outside of the admin claim, in the community portion players may find some starter food farms and aย post office. For transport, the world has the Nether Transport Network (ice boat tunnels) in the nether, and the Survival Railway Network (minecart rails) and the Road and Horse Network (foot & horse paths) in the overworld. The player-run city of Leon is located on Shepherd. ย
The central facilities for the Connected Seas Coalition, the Road and Horse Network and the Survival Railway Network are located with the player built spawn-town to the east of the floating island. The Nether Transport Network can be reached by stepping through the nether portal on the floating island and following a path in the nether indicated by signs.

The Streamtown world is a third survival world, but the entire world is protected by an admin claim with only a number of fixed plots available to be built in after being claimed by players. This world was created in response to Rendog announcing that he wanted to stream from the Dogcraft server during Sur6. It was layed out as a plot world, but in normal terrain, to allow players to build near Rendog during his streams while both giving as many players as possible the chance to build close to Rendog and keeping a distance between Rendogs builds and the other players to create a good experience for players and Rendog.

The Streamtown world is also being used for all server and DCT events, which are located further out in the world and accessible by warps.

Survival 6

Main Article: Survival 6

Survival, the server's flagship mode has been continuously available since launch. It is currently on its sixth iteration, which started on 2023 December 16th. Survival 6 marked the server's update to Minecraft 1.20: Trails & Tales, and brought with it a number of new QOL features. Like Survival 4 and 5, Sur6 is also split into multiple interlinked worlds; Sheltie, Retriever and Streamtown, between which inventory and enderchest data is shared, but each with unique seeds. The /sheltie, /retriever and /streamtown commands can be used for switching worlds directly, without the extra step of the /servers GUI. Players can also teleport to each other and to their own homes between worlds. However, all 3 are interconnected, so nobody has to choose a single world to play on. (The server operates with multiple worlds for better performance.)

Each of the Sheltie and Retriever worlds has its own spawn, containing a pre-built section with an admin claim around the spawn point created by the Dogcraft Creative Team before the world's launch, and an open community portion past the edge of the protected area where anyone is free to build.

The Streamtown world has a number of plots around the spawn point that can be claimed by players to build in, while the rest of the world is protected against building and mining. For more info about Streamtown, see the paragraph below
