Southeast Station was built as part of the Akita Ring Line on Survival 5. The station was designed and built by D_nub and opened to the public alongside the rest of the Southeastern portion of the Akita Ring Line on the 2nd of September 2023.
About The Station
The station is built behind a lake encased in a stunning natural basin, with large mountains covering the boundary of the whole area. The area was marked out by Montenator as far back as May 2022, as a potential base area. Later on these plans never materialized and when planning a route for the Akita Ring Line, Montenator noticed that the area marked out would be a perfect location for a station. After D_nub approached Montenator wanting to build a station in March 2023, Montenator offered up the area and D_nub got to work building.
The station itself was loosely inspired by Leon, resembling a suburban style apartment block. The station itself was primarily built out of dirt with the lower shopfront being decorated in more colourful blocks like crimson wood and dark prismarine. The roof was made with combinations of deepslate, anvils and polished andesite. A cobbled pavement stretches the perimeter of the building, with the back alley being decorated with old crates. The front resembled a suburban street, with several vehicles travelling down the street. This is where the two ring line connections are. One leads to Oztezarian Station while the other leads to Electric Grove Station and links up with the Akita South Line. A custom birch tree also decorates the area.
On the opposite side of the street, a staircase leads down to a subway system, again inspired by Leon, with an NTN portal being located halfway down the stairs. The subway system includes two trains where the branch line terminals are located, the rest of the subway is decorated with foliage, benches and network maps. One of these branch line terminals was used, and leads to the base of ChickenNoodle007, Deathfall Valley.
