South station is the first station on the Shepherd South Line on Survival 5 world. The station was first started by former Line Manager  Aeghu, but to be taken later by  Ze_Tais to finish the station. The station took around a year to be fully constructed, but would see great progress around the end of 2022, and the start of 2023. The station was opened on the 4th of February among 4 other stations.

About

The station saw great progress withing the first few months when survival 5 started, but to be left without any progress for a lot of months till November 2022, where Ze_Tais would take on the task of finishing South station. The main structure was mainly constructed by Aeghu, but would only see slight modifications for the middle part. Being the addition of new pillars, and more support for the roof. The interior would be designed by the players  TheWhiteTigerNL,  Montenator, and Ze_Tais. TheWhiteTigerNL would construct the RHN room, and Montenator would construct the Monty Café.

History

After a few successful build sessions, the line going from Grand Central Station (GCS) to South station would see the completion. (See List for builders in the table below, and gallery). The line would pass by the RHN Shepherd Headquarters, and  HatterSkye's desert base.

The station would see major changes to the surroundings with more foliage added, and a few terraforming.

The station would also have a frog statue, build by  NeoFiore, which represents the 1.19 update.

Connections

South Station contains connections with the NTN, RHN and a future CSC port. The NTN portal would be built by the Shepherd World Manager  AwesomeTom21, while the RHN shelter would be built by  PeakMars. A CSC port has been in the works, and to have an opening very soon!
