Akkara was a prominent player settlement on the Survival 2 world of the Dogcraft Server. The city was based on the ruins of an ancient Mayan settlement, surrounded by player built colonial-styled plots that were split into districts. After months of preparation, the city opened to the public with a Akkara City Opening Day, attended and streamed at points by ReNDoG. The popularity of this event closely following a player rush stemming from their friendly rival city Havana for the catalyst for a period of time known as the Townpocalypse, a major aspect of the latter half of the Survival 2 era.(Full article...)
