West Station is the first SRN station on the West Line on the Survival 3 world. The line continues to Mall Station.

Design

The Station was designed to look grand. Its two platforms face the same direction, leaving 270° of space around the station to be developed by players. West Station isn't located on the direct west access from spawn like the other directional stations. It was constructed some 200 blocks to the north to put it on land, otherwise it would have been floating in the ocean.

The station sits atop a hill, with a stone base and spruce wood skeleton it supports a glass dome, visible from all directions.

Like any other station, it has a map from the surrounding area and supports a connection to the NTN Network. On the Nether-side the Tunnel leading back to the main NTN tunnel has been decorated to fit the same design as the station. The station being atop a hill makes it easy to take of using an elytra.

History

West Station was the second station to be opened after the Survival 3 world released. At opening the Station wasn't finished completely, with the banners and map missing at first. The NTN portal was active, but the NTN side tunnel was only completed in February 2019.

Surrounding Area

The area surrounding West Station was quickly developed following its contruction.

To the Northeast there is a small hovel, where darparniox, _edo, Aeghu and Skelleton123 first set up camp.

Southeast on the small peninsula SplittingAdms set up a base and started building a path that runs around the base of the hill on which the Station sit. Further on this road becomes the 'George Carlin Memorial Highway' which leads into to the mountains North of West Station.

Right Next to the station on the same mountain Snailman123 created 'Snail Town'. North of that is also a small village that was quickly put up, but hasn't progressed much since.
