Continuing back onto the main ring line, now entering the south-western section, the player will arrive at another large station. This is Red King's Rest, serving the larger base of [[Red King's Landing]], which was designed and built by {{Player|_Maddy_monster_}} and {{Player|tijnybricks}}. The station is similar to Rougemount in that it features brick as its main block, and has a train shed in the rear platform area. It features a slightly brighter colour palette however, and is located in a central place at Red King's Landing, at the end of a large boulevard. Public amenities like a villager trading hall can also be found alongside this boulevard. Maddy's Fried Chicken and Tijny's Donuts also originated as concessionary stands in this station. This station also features the most rail connections of any non-cardinal line station. Aside from 2 ring line terminals, the station is the start of a large western branch line that reaches {{Player|Elednor89}}'s base and further on to {{Player|IvyMonstera}} and {{Player|ebbsy}}'s bases. Another small branch line leads to {{Player|Get_Goosed}}'s base [[Bluet]].

World(s)Survival 6

The Retriever Ring Line is part of the Survival Railway Network on the Survival 6 Retriever world on the Dogcraft Server. Construction on the line is ongoing but many segments are already open.

About the Line

Ring Lines as a concept were explored on both the SRN and CRN in Survival 5, to boost interconnectivity between the 4 main cardinal lines. While successful, the ring lines on Survival 5 suffered due to the low density on many of the worlds, resulting in many standalone stations. This is something that has been largely remedied with the return to two worlds for Survival 6 and the shift away from standalone stations and prioritizing base connections wherever possible.

By focusing on connecting points of interest, the Retriever Ring Line is more irregular in shape than its predecessors, and uses several sections of main line track along its route. Construction first began in early 2024, with the south eastern section being largely operational by May 2024, with the south western section following later in the year. Currently work is ongoing to finish the north western and north eastern sections with the hope of completion in early 2026.

Stations on the Line

Starting from the north line and working clockwise:-

Minedog Station, looking north.

Minedog Station

The 3rd station on the North Line, offering interchange between Broken Tower Guild to the north and Termite Station to the South. The area serves the large factory base of 20.png minedog1000 and is located completely underground. Access by path to other Marsh Mechanics adjacent bases can also be found via the sprawling path network around the area.

Astro Station, looking north.

Astro Station

Currently built but unconnected to the rest of the network, this station serves the GigaCorp inspired base of 20.png AstroTheCanine. The station is located on a hiltop in a central area of the base. The station also connects the nearby bases of 20.png Azthma and 20.png Chilieees by path. This stop on the line was initially meant to be served by a larger station which was being constructed by 20.png ebbsy, but upon the return of AstroTheCanine after a hiatus and the slow progress on the other station, the new station was built by AstroTheCanine which better serves their base and surrounds.

Gas Station, looking northeast.

Gas Station

Gas Station serves the overworld portion of 20.png ItsDaCreeper's main base, and as the name suggests, resembles a gas station built with dark oak and deepslate in keeping with the colour pallatte found in the rest of the area. A short branch line is accessible from the station down to the main Deepskulk City. This line predominantly transports the player along the y-coordinate, a first for the SRN. Other potential expansions of lines include heading northwards towards 20.png NeoFiore's Timed Out! minigame. The station is also located along a main RHN road, with nearby CSC provisions too.

Rocky Bay, looking east.

Rocky Bay Station

A largely isolated station, built in mid-2024 by long time player 20.png Glaasman1, the station is predominantly sandstone and oak in block palette, with provisions for 4 minecart lines. The station was later expanded during the Connected Seas Competition where a port was added at the far side of the bay area where the station is located.

Copacawama Station, looking east.

Copacawama Station

One of the most major stations on the line, this station allows access to the Retriever East Line. The station was designed and built by east line manager 20.png eybwam serving his base/town area Copacawama. The station is currently unfinished, but efforts are underway to complete the interior design and connect the relevant lines to it. Being on the East Line, access to Spawn City via Deep Dark Depot to the west is available, with future expansions eastward towards Elemental Station also planned.

Mountain Home Station, looking west.

Mountain Home Station

Continuing south from Copacawama, we travel through the oldest section of the ring line, characterised by long stretches across ocean. Just before the ocean, on a small peninsula south of Copacawama is Mountain Home Station, which serves the base of the same name by 20.png Atomzack. The station is simple in design, using lots of wood variants and is nestled between two large hills. It is connected to the rest of the base by footpath.

Old Pine Station, looking south.

Old Pine Station

Travelling further south, Old Pine Station is located on a moderately sized island, and serves the base of 20.png Julyousy. NTN connections can also be found close to the station area, with the station itslef being on a bank of a small lake. On the eastern side of the island, the small base of 20.png NecroVecro can be found. The station is split into two distinct block palettes, with a darker palette consisting of green blocks, and a lighter palette matching the track design with whites and browns.

Kraken Station, looking east.

Kraken Station

This station is one of the most dynamic on the line, despite the challenging base location which was largely over water. The station as the name suggests is a galleon ship doing battle with a kraken. Uniquely minecarts enter the station along the tentacles of the kraken. The station was designed and built by 20.png Elasmotherium1 but is located nearby the large ocean base of 20.png Magmazen07. The base is accessible via boats and is around 100 blocks further east from the station.

Syphero Station, looking south.

Syphero Station

This small station was built by 20.png Syphero, to serve their small island base which can be accessed from the station by boat around 100 blocks to the north. The station is unique on the line as it is a 'request stop' whereby there are no minecart dispensers set up at the station, and the line continues through without stopping.

Black Tower Station, looking southwest.

Black Tower Station

This was the first branch line station built on Survival 6, completed in February 2024. This station served the base of 20.png HeavyDork, and is characterised by a unique rail line design. In the ocean section approaching the station, the line passes by a large trident wielding statue. The station is simplistic inside, and features a unique minecart dispensing system. Built predominantly from polished deepslate with twisting and weeping vines adding much of the colour in the build.

Golden Station, looking southeast.

Golden Station

The fist station completed on Retriever, this gives the ring line access to the rest of the Retriever South Line, with access to Spawn City just a single stop to the north. The station was built by South Line Manager and SRN Conductor 20.png Montenator and also includes a nearby RHN connection across the main road. The RHN road in question also provides access to a number of smaller bases in the area, such as 20.png Locketeer's and 20.png Coaleb's. The ring line actually continues along the same track as the South Line temporarily, to the following station.

Rougemount Station, looking south.

Rougemount Station

The ring line briefly continues along the route of the Retriever South Line and connects to the second station on the South Line, Rougemount Station, which has been opened since May 2024. The station was designed and built by Montenator. The ring line subsequently deviates of the Retriever South Line afterwards.

Red King's Rest Station

Red King's Landing, looking south.

Continuing back onto the main ring line, now entering the south-western section, the player will arrive at another large station. This is Red King's Rest, serving the larger base of Red King's Landing, which was designed and built by 20.png _Maddy_monster_ and 20.png tijnybricks. Aside from 2 ring line terminals, the station is the start of a large western branch line that reaches 20.png Elednor89's base and further on to 20.png IvyMonstera and 20.png ebbsy's bases. Another small branch line leads to 20.png Get_Goosed's base Bluet.
