The Million-Wheat Project is the Survival 6 base of 20.png William278 and 20.png marbou9, located in Sheltie. The project entails the terraforming of the entire plains biome covering the temperate subcontinent, approximately 5000 blocks north of spawn, into farmland growing wheat. In the center of the base is a large snowflake-shaped walled structure that will house various infrastrucutre, storage, and farming facilities. Public donations are accepted for wheat seeds to aid the construction effort at a staging area in the north-west of the project area.

History

The base area was founded on the launch day of Survival 6 by 20.png William278, who was joined by 20.png marbou9 in the following week. The idea of terraforming a wheat biome was inspired by the previous effort in Ouranos on Survival 3, in which a desert biome located close to the city limits was terraformed into a similar wheat field, and provided a nice approach for rail travelers entering the city. Claim pillars were erected around the plains area to reserve the area for terraforming and a staging area was setup. A donation center (entitled the Svalmarb Global Seed Vault) was opened to accept public donations of wheat seeds to complete the project.
