The Great Survival Map (GSM) is a server wide project organized by Skelleton123 and Survival Railway Network team. The map created is for the Survival 2 world.
Formation
After the announcement of the new Survival 2 world in August of 2017, the SRN team was in need of a new map background upon which stations could be planned with in the new world. There would be no access to a world map generated by a third party program or plugin. So, the only way to get a map that shows a big part of the world, is to make it our selves. That's where the idea for this server wide project came from. Upon the launch of the new Survival 2 world and the completion of Grand Central Station in Havana, the first iteration of the map was posted on the Forums.
Project Status
The first stage of the map (currently June 2018) is almost finished. It contains of a 10x10 grid of Zoom step 4 maps. Which is 16x16 chuncks or 2048x2048 blocks. The map completed will show an area of 20480x20480 blocks, with Havana at the center.
