Wiki Reflections is a recurring series of events on the Dogcraft Wiki, usually held in either the last month(s) of a survival server world, or in the beginning of the year. The aim of the event is to drive awareness of and engagement with the wiki, increase editing and article creation, and ultimately assist in achieving one of our perpetual goals of the project, maintaining a record of the rich history of the server and community. The event was held for the first time in January 2020, under the name 2019 Reflections. (As it was reflecting on 2019)
General Format
The βReflectionsβ event format is a length of time in which editing the wiki comes with certain bonus rewards. It is usually placed at the new year or at the end of a server world to spur documentation of the happenings of the previous year or world on the wiki. Usually, anyone who edits the wiki during the event receives a reward at the end, in addition to multiple categories in which rewards can be 'won'. The rewards generally come in the form of wiki Trophies, but on some occasions have also included commemorative items or DCD.
