High Volt Station is the third station on the Retriever South Line on Survival 6. The station was designed by Retriever South Line manager Montenator and copied into survival by both Montenator and
Xambaka. The station was built over a long period over the summer and autumn months of 2024, as Montenator's primary focus was developing the branch lines in the south west and around Tattington. The bulk of the station was transferred into survival by Xambaka in autumn 2024 before being completed by Montenator in December. It opened in a large opening alongside several other station on Retriever and Mangrove Gardens Station on Sheltie. This opening would be the SRN's last on Retriever in 2024.
About the Station
The station was described by players at the opening as having an 'electropunk' style. With 6 outer towers in a loose hexagonal shape surrounding a large central tower projecting and energy beam into the sky. Pylons at either end of the station further hint at its theme. The station is primarily built out of combinations featuring, blackstone, birch, bamboo and quartz. The station can be accessed through the front and the back by to gateway towers which also feature the bulk of the station amenities including a log book, map, ender chest, wall of thanks and NTN access.
The remaining 4 towers each house a rail line terminal which can all be accessed via the central garden area. The station features two main line connections towards Rougemount Station and Arid Station respectively, with 2 branch line connections being open for potential future expansions.
