Barsouth Station, also extended to Barsouth Moon Station, is the sixth station on the Retriever South Line on the Survival 6 Retriever world on the Dogcraft Server. It was the first station on the Retriever South Line not to be designed by
Montenator, instead being designed and built by RHN Lead
_Shako as part of the Survival 6 Station Building Competition. The station opened alongside the fifth, seventh and eighth south line stations in what would be the final Retriever South Line opening of Survival 6 on the 6th of September 2025.
About The Station
Barsouth Station has an extensive outside concourse area, with several interconnecting RHN junction which hinted at a potential future expansion of the main Retriever road network down south. The meadow biome the station is built in is framed by a snowy peak, and has been heavily forested by _Shako. At the far end of the station grounds, a large ice hockey arena can be found, also built by _Shako.
The station itself features a heavy use of deepslate, with dark tinted windows and sandstone accents. The interior wall of the main atrium contrast the exterior, being adorned with red sandstone, with lower levels containing green walls. The main atrium and platform area is in the top floor of the station, in the large A-frame section of the building. Four minecart terminals are found in the two bell tower annexes. Only two terminals are in use, both as part of the Retriever South Line. The northern terminal takes players to Fairways Station and the southern terminal takes them to Chateau Station. The rest of the atrium features network maps and seating.
The lower levels include bed areas and are decorated to be a hotel like appearance. One bathroom has an easter egg in reference to the bathroom aioli and subsequent aioli dogs incident involving _Shako earlier in Survival 6. An NTN portal can be found in the basement floor. All floors are connected by a grand staircase complete with checkerboard patterned floors.
