The station was originally planned to be at the edge of the ocean that connects this part of the map to spawn. But that was only a 2 minute drive from [[Mall Station (Survival 3)|Mall Station]], which was very close to [[West Station (Survival 3)|West Station]] as well. Balaton Station is the third station on the SRN West Line for the Survival 3 world. The inspiration for the name came from the eponymous lake in Hungary and the festival that is held there every year.

The lake was named 'Lake Balaton' after it's real life counterpart. The station was designed to look like a massive party tent and so it's two main building blocks are oak and wool.
History
The station was originally planned to be at the edge of the ocean that connects this part of the map to spawn. But that was only a 2 minute drive from Mall Station, which was very close to West Station as well. There for it was decided to go a little bit further West to place the station.
