MicroMesa (Survival 2)
From Dogcraft Wiki
Template:Infobox location Template:Infobox Town Template The MicroMesa is a town on Survival 2 featuring tiny builds on a tiny mesa biome surrounded by large oceans. It was discovered by Mrs_Diss, leetz1lla suggested building tiny homes on it.
History
The idea gained traction immediately, within 24 hours half a dozen players had constructed tiny homes on the archipelago. Many more joined in on the fun in the following days and weeks, though the rate at which new builds appear has slowed down significantly. Most of the available area has been used for construction, and the early hype surrounding the project has calmed down. There are however still a few choice pieces of real estate available, and players interested in contributing to MicroMesa could still contact the mayors.
Transport
To connect MicroMesa to the Survival 2 transport network the NTN was expanded by over 1000 blocks towards the west and south. Coincidentally the junction for the southward line is near a large Mesa biome in the overworld, such that the Mesa and MicroMesa NTN stations neighbour each other.
The MicroMesa NTN Station features a miniature diorama of the MicroMesa.
Style
The build-style varies enormously, from the very simple to the very intricate, from medieval to modern, via rustic and the fantastic, but is united by the relatively small size of the builds. Most adhere to a guideline of 10x10 blocks, with a few much smaller ones.
Notable Builds
Most of the builds on MicroMesa are worth exploring, even though they are small the players often invested a lot of effort into detailing and sprucing them up. Stand-out builds include the tree on the southern-most island of the archipelago, the tiny castle in the northeast extremity, the secret headquarters underneath the centre of the island, and the caves in the south.
Embassies
MicroMesa doesn't maintain embassies in the classical sense. Instead, it operates Tourism Bureaus, at time of writing in Havana and Akkara (under construction).
Banner
This section needs additional images.
The banner of the MicroMesa features a mesa rising out of the ocean, in front of a rising sun. And was created by Cookies5810, who volunteerd to craft one, it went through 3-4 renditions until Mrs_Diss was happy with it.
