Build Battles

A project of the Build Team is the recurrent Build Battles. The build battles are run in survival, where players are given one month to build accordingly to a theme. Whilst the theme is known to all during the sign up phase, there is a twist, that is only revealed to the builders on the first day of the competition.

Plots sizes are pre-determined and usually range from 16x16 to 30x30, depending on the theme/twist.

Players are given a shulker box on their plot to assist in resource gathering. This is their own to keep.

Judging is done after the final build date. And usually is comprised of 5 players, a mix of Master Builders from the Build Team, and other players as deemed appropriate. As part of the judging process, the general public are allowed to vote as well. And the vote that receives the most player votes receives the “Players Choice” prize. Another favoured prize is that of the “Guest Judge”, which is often chosen by Renthedog himself. The winner of this prize receives the Rendog Banner and Renthedogs Player Head.
