About me
Hi! My name is Minda and I'm a freetime Minecrafter from Sweden who joined Dogcraft in August of 2020. After some confusion I began my active playing about a month later, this being the first SMP I've joined to play actively.
When Minecraft rose to new popularity thanks major YouTube gamers picking up the game on their channels in early 2019 it caught my interest. Intrigued, I also started watching Grian's Hermitcraft Season 6, and later caught up with several of the other Hermits videos. RenDog, Scar, Bdubs and False quickly became my favourite Hermits along with Grian, all of whom has undoubtedly had a major influence on my building style.
During the summer of 2019 I decided to give the game a go and I have been hooked ever since!
Getting tired of only playing by myself I started looking for SMP's to play on, and after hearing RenDog talking about the DogCraft server I decided to give it a ago, and fell in love with the helpful and kind community.
I am a creative person with a background in music/teaching and I love to dabble my nose into most aspects of the gameplay, whether it be building, redstone, exploring, armourstands or even commandblocks. I do also like to create lore and stories around my major projects!
On Dogcraft
Starting out on Husky in Survival 4 I went north from spawn by horseback, trying to find a good place for a starter base. However, after some confusion, and being a bit overwhelmed I took a short time away from the server. When I returned I decided to start over and went South on the SRN, heading for a small island south west of Alpine Station which I had scouted out on the map.
There I founded Ingrid Island(s) ~[x -825, z 3260], upon which I built Villa Ingrid, a harbour and a ship which I named Moonriver (after Jacob Collier's Grammy awarded cover). Most of the base is located underground, with rooms and farms connected to the tower stairwell reaching all the way down to bedrock, as well as a nether portal with a tunnel connecting to the south NTN line. At the time of writing the base has been further expanded is still being worked on.
Other projects on Husky
- After finding an unclaimed End Portal at ~[x 213, y 14519] I began working on a large scale project to decorate the area by opening up the portal to the sky in a deep pit with a spiraling staircase leading all the way down. During the digging I found a Skelly Spawner close by which I converted into a farm for XP and skelly drops. As other projects came up the portal build has been set aside but plans are still brewing.
- Finding a free plot in the mall I seized the opportunity and created my shop Minda's Nicknacks where I sell -well you might have guessed it- nicknacks! Mostly gardening related things. Havning this shop has given me more inspiration to create farms for items which I can keep in stock.
- In direction east of the End Portal you can find my Creeper farm ~[x 384, z 14553] - a large square pit in the ocean bay, an adapted version of LogicalGeekBoy's 1.15 design. During the construction @Chriziisch kindly lent me sponges to empty the ocean, and @FretboardFreak helped me out with the redstone clock controlling the water dispensers.
- Further east of these locations sits my Flower farm ~[x 1366, z 14365]. My own half-automatic design with 12 modules connected to an automatic storting system.
- In december 2020 I explored the realm of creating noteblock songs and then built The Christmas Wishing Well ~[x 6646, z -787] which I intended to enter into the Christmas Decoration Competition. However I did not finish it in time, but it is still open and you can visit by going to phome/The Christmas Wishing Well. A known christmas tune will play after a player throws something into the candy cane well.
- During the Christmas event I met @JakeMnlo and @Lauratje19 whom I soon became friends with. After an instance of griefing at @JakeMnlo's base we came toghether as a group with @PerskyPuff to clean up and re-decorate the cave and set up a farm around the spawner; the Deep Sea Navigator's Cave. As a group we're called Deep Sea Navigator's Fleet Officials, my Captain name being Minda of Moonriver. Together we also worked on draining and digging out an ocean monument for a prismarine farm.
- Wanting to contribute more to the community I applied to become a citizen of Gaia in feb. 2021, building up La Casa Musicale ~[x -1644, y 64, z -386], a small concert hall with a bar, located on the opposite side of the canale to the library.
Projects on Beagle
- Playing mainly on Husky, I only have a small vacation cottage named Minda's Hermit Hut ~[x 12898, y 69, z -5274] located in a giant tree taiga hill biome on Beagle. It is handy as a starting point while visiting other players, events or other places on Beagle.

Trivia
- Personal longest playtime streak without a death is 200+ hours on Husky. I died to kinetic energy (accidentaly flew into a wall due to some lag and had no armour on) while trying to loose hunger so I could reach the advancement "A well balanced diet" in December 2020.
- My 10th death was due to a "hit the ground too hard" as my elytra did not activate while diving into the depths of my creeperfarm (4th feb. 2021), I took me by such surprise I couldn't stop laughing for quite a while...!
- Most of my animals are named after characters in operas or musicals
- @OwlCroissant was the first one to sneak me some Maffia Carrots, this happened just before the opening of Molemart in the Mall. I have not eaten them.
- I have been on the receiving end of a Pass-it-on-Box from a secret invisible player, once.
