Hello, I am Kronolak!

History

Survival 3 (2018-2020)

Kronolak first joined Dogcraft in late 2018, just a few months after the launch of Survival 3 on Minecraft 1.13. Finding the server's features, builds and community to be better than he'd ever dreamed possible, he became a Rendog Iron Patreon just a few weeks later.

After grinding happily through the winter he took a break from MC to enjoy the glorious IRL springtime traveling and playing outside. Unfortunately, injuries from a rough bicycle accident that summer left him unable to play computer games for a long time. He returned to the Dogcraft server in late 2019, only to find that MC 1.14 had made quite a mess of his villagers, iron farm and unfinished base plans.

Encouraged by the now familiar helpfulness and generosity of his fellow citizens of the Cyberdog nation, Kronolak regrouped and pressed on. The iron farm was rebuilt, an ocean monument was kitted out with a new villager breeder and trade hall, and a successful shop in the mall helped him earn a ton of DCD. He also learned to use Spritecraft, prepared an area for map art projects, and gathered the dozens of shulker boxes full of materials he'd need for that work.

By early March 2020 he had saved up enough DCD to buy one million claim blocks, in happy anticipation of even greater things once the long-awaited border expansion came around. Then, most unexpectedly... the end of the world was announced.

Oh well, it's only a game...

Survival 4 (some time ago)

Stuff happened for a time, including a Gold Patreon thing and other stuff.

Survival 5 (whee!)

Starting up happened, and some happy little projects. Then real life happened, as it does from time to time. Get Gud game theory saved Krono's bacon there and brought him right on back to Dogcraft in early 2023. Then an Emerald Patreon thing happened; I don't know the line of my eye circles fell onto an open circle of inviting game theory and then my fingers followed. I love it when that happens.
