On Dogcraft

• Day 1 : Arrived on new world, randomly tp'd to some distant wilderness and started making a basic camp. Found a skeleton spawner and turned it into a very rudimentary farm. Started growing wheat, gathered a few cows, and tamed a wolf. Died twice (skelly & creeper). Good times!
• Day 2 : Ventured further afield and identified location for a cosy little hamlet. House the first was created, along with a path back to the cave home, and a little bridge over the river. When not building, there was an expedition deep into the mines to light things up, revealing several geodes and a distant zombie spawner which might prove useful later. Also took a looooong walk to go find moss. Yet to find an actual village, but that's on the to do list... along with making a to do list!
• Days 3 & 4 : Found Village! Made a rudimentary iron farm. Died twice. Iron farm is not doing much, but only has 3 villagers, and I've not been around it to keep the chunks loaded, so will have to spend more time there in the future and work on some villager breeding with the hope of doubling up the iron farm to be also a trading centre. Meanwhile, back at the hamlet, a second house has appeared, as well as some decorative flowerings and, tucked into the mountain, a nether portal. Made diamond hat.
• Day 5 : The Hamlet grew another building, a storage barn/warehouse/vault built into the hill. A surprise rtp delivered me straight to terracotta, so the amethyst roof of house the first was switched out to a cute pink gradient. A kind explorer dropped off some shiny armour, tools, and shulker shells from their own adventures, all of which will be very useful. And now the great Sorting begins as all chests need to be consolidated in the new storage space.
• The Days continued, bringing a cow barn, and the journeying of the cows from the original cave home to their new pastures... Some bovine may have perished before the trip began, but that was a sacrifice the librarian was willing to make. Unrelated, progress has been made toward getting the all important 15 bookshelves around the enchanter. A cautious nether adventure has delivered the forbidden cinnamon rolls to the weaponsmith, so the push toward netherite gear and tools has officially started, and is being aided by the captive mending villager. A new structure has broken ground aside the hill, looking down over the growing hamlet whilst also keeping an eye on the nether portal.
• To Do:
• Finish the Great Sorting.
• Villager breeding, then Villager trading
• Claim more land and plot out the next expansion of the Hamlet.
• Think of better name for 'the Hamlet'
• Find many more diamonds netherite to finish getting geared up.
• Books. Books. Books. Get that enchanter up to the good level.
