Dogged Out is a game in Canine Kingdom on the Sheltie world of Survival 6 inspired by "Decked Out" and "Decked Out 2" by TangoTek on Hermitcraft. While the game is directly and heavily inspired and based on TangoTek's games from Hermitcraft it is not a direct recreation. The general theme and several of the systems are significantly different from the original.
Players are asked to read both the Overview and HowToPlay tabs on this page before attempting a dungeon run.
During a dungeon run the custom game-currency of Chips and Credits is available as loot in the dungeon.
This currency is NOT comparable or related to the server currency DCD and is used only in connection with DoggedOut!
Chips are a lower denomination then Credits and cannot be used directly. Instead Chips have to be exchanged for Credits in the Currency Exchange.
Credits are the higher denomination and can be used in the games Shop to buy items that may help you in future runs.
Currency Exchange
The Currency Exchange is located at the front of the Embarkation Area on the east wall and can be used to exchange Chips for Credits.
The Currency Exchange only accepts Chips, so please do not put anything else in the barrel.
The current exchange rate is displayed on a sign in the Currency Exchange.
Simply input the Chips to be exchanged into the barrel at the bottom and the Credits will drop from the ceiling.
The Currency Exchange may take a few seconds to count your Chips and deliver the correct amount of Credits, so please be patient if you are not immediately seeing items drop.
Please note: The Currency Exchange can only exchange complete sets and cannot give refunds or return excess Chips!
Example: If the exchange rate is 4:1 and you input 3 Chips, you will not receive anything and will also not get your Chips back! If you input 12 Chips you will receive 3 Credits correctly.
DoggedOut Shop
The Shop is located next to the Embarkation Area and attaches to the west side of the entrance hallway.
The Shop is where you can exchange the game currency Credits for items for the use in your future dungeon runs.
Please note that this shop is not in the mall and does not accept DCD.
Each shop is labelled with the item for sale as well as the cost of that item.
All items are sold as individual items. The prices therefore always refer to a single item.
All prices are in Credits and Credits are the only accepted currency.
To use Chips please exchange them for Credits in the Currency Exchange (see section above).
To buy an item, simply put the required amount of Credits into the input barrel and the bought item(s) will drop from the ceiling shortly afterwards.
Please be patient if the shop takes a second or two to count your money before dispensing items.
Please note: The Shops can only exchange complete sets and cannot give refunds or return excess Credits!
Example: If the item price is 4 and you input 3 Credits, you will not receive anything and will also not get your Credits back! If you input 12 Credits you will receive 3 items correctly.
