Dogged Out is a game in Canine Kingdom on the Sheltie world of Survival 6 inspired by "Decked Out" and "Decked Out 2" by TangoTek on Hermitcraft. While the game is directly and heavily inspired and based on TangoTek's games from Hermitcraft it is not a direct recreation. The general theme and several of the systems are significantly different from the original.
Players are asked to read both the Overview and HowToPlay tabs on this page before attempting a dungeon run.
Dogged Out is a competitive deck-building dungeon crawler minigame on Dogcraft, inspired by "Decked Out" and "Decked Out 2" from TangoTek that was created by
XPModder,
Its_Nars and
viBEEng.
The game is located underground under the Canine Kingdom minigame district on the Sheltie world of Survival 6.
The entrance to the game is in the large building in plot A15 directly in front of the CyberBall arena.
Objective
The objective of the game is to get as many points as possible on your personal scoreboard. These points are obtained by inserting Expungement Tokens into the barrel under the scoreboard.
Expungement Tokens are obtained by completing successful runs in the dungeon and selecting the Expungement Token reward in the Victory Hall.
To reach the Victory Hall a player has to successfully locate the Bounty they received at the dungeon entrance, submit it and make it out of the dungeon alive.
Details
The game uses shulker boxes to hold decks of cards, with each card being a custom banner and every deck requiring at least one card.
After submitting the deck, emptying their inventory and selecting a difficulty players receive a lodestone compass pointing to a specific location in the dungeon. This is their Bounty.
The dungeon itself is constructed of multiple rooms, connected with passages (the Rift) with each room having its own unique style and potentially containing bounty locations, loot chests or barrels, traps as well as Ravagers and potentially Evokers.
The Ravagers and Evokers are the main enemies of the dungeon and have to be evaded, as harming them is not allowed by the rules of the game.
Additionally several secret passages exist inside the dungeon.
The entrance to the Victory Hall is located near the dungeon entrance through which players first enter the dungeon, but the door to the Victory Hall can only be opened after the Bounty has been submitted at the correct location.
While in the dungeon, players can keep track of their stealth by listening to the heartbeat sound constantly echoing throughout the entire dungeon.
During gameplay, up to 20 cards of the players deck will be played at regular intervals, activating a number of systems in the dungeon.
Cards can add Loot or Food to the dungeons loot chests, provide speed or jump boost effects, open up secret passages and/or disable traps in the dungeon.
Every time a specific system is activated by a card, this is accompanied by the sound of a specific music disc in the dungeon. Below is a list of the systems and associated sounds.
| System | Sound |
|---|---|
| Loot | "Far" |
| Food | "Creator" |
| Clank Block | "Mall" |
| Jump Boost | "Wait" |
| Speed | "Cat" |
| Safety | "Strad" |
| Secret | "Creator (Music Box)" |
